Not lacking

Here is a word that I received from God, and I pray it encourages your heart as much as it did mine.

When you wrap your worth up in your capabilities than the feeling of lack will destroy you. I need you to release that belief of earning or striving or performing for what I want to freely give you. Because the moment you feel lack you push it away and you push me away. You withdrawal and you remove yourself from the very thing that will save you and set you free. In me you are not lacking anything. In me you will not lack. For any good thing comes from me and it is freely given to you, my child. The lack mindset keeps you trapped in bondage that isn’t meant for you. You are worth so much more and you don’t have to strive to get it. All you have to do is follow me and trust me and move with me. Remember it’s a dance. I want you to be my dance partner, but you can’t keep running away every time you think you might mess up. No one in this life has ever been perfect at something on their first try. I don’t expect you to be perfect and you shouldn’t either. All I’m looking for is a try. A good honest try. I can work through that. Trying something allows me space to move within the thing you are trying. But when there is no try there is no movement and there is no room for me to move within it on your behalf. I can’t help you if you don’t give me something to help you with. You are not less than anyone else in this field. You just have to get started. You have to get your momentum back. You are not lacking in anything when you are in me. Now repeat that until it settles into your heart.
