Freedom
Here is a conversation between God and I about understanding the choices he is allowing me to make as well as walking in the freedom He is granting me. Hope it encourages you as well!
Safety is relative and it is your perception. No, I will not lead you or allow you to go down a path that will destroy you physically, emotionally, or spiritually, but my level of safety and your level of safety are not one in the same. You are looking for a higher degree of certainty that I can give you. What I can offer you is a choice, then with that choice it allows you a chance to decide for yourself. One only you can make. You can trust if I have allowed something to stay in your life than I am allowing you to make a choice with it. If I don’t want you to make a choice about something I will promptly remove it from you and your life, and you will notice it has left. So, it is safe to say that if that is not the case and it keeps coming back around and you’re still interested in it then I am leaving it up to you. It is your life and I want you to live it!
Up until this point I have parented you with great depth and given you less space to move, it was all meant to keep you safe, I know you felt it too. I know you felt my level of safety and now that I am gently removing that safety net you are feeling it leave and it is alarming to your system, your whole being doesn’t know what to do with it. It’s understandable that you aren’t sure if you should be scared or excited because being excited feels remarkably close to scary. Your body, mind and soul are still differentiating what those feelings mean, especially to you. I am not here to tell you what you can and can’t do as much as I used to and that is not because I am leaving you, it is quite the opposite. I am giving you more freedom to choose for yourself. I am allowing you to make some of these decisions that you want to make, and I am letting you see them play out. I know this is scary because it is like taking the bumpers off in bowling and what happens if you fall off the side? The good thing is just like in bowling the gutter will bring the ball right back to where you started, and you will be given another chance to try again. The same goes with you and these decisions plaguing your mind right now. If you want to try something I will give you the freedom to do so, with no bumpers up. It is an exciting thing; it is an act of true growth.
To you and your body it feels like a constant free fall and you’re wondering when you’re going to crash on the ground, but my child you have yet to realize you are not meant to hit the ground because in reality you are flying. You are not free falling to your death, you are flying to your destiny. Creating your own path as you go. Your mind was never meant to be trained, your body was never meant to be tamed and your thoughts were never meant to be monitored. I have created you in such a fashion as to allow your whole person undivided freedom that very few people in this world can handle. It is the other side of the great burdens you have carried through your life and will continue to walk through. Even though you may have great hardships and go through trials and tribulations, you will also experience boundless joy and expansion like never before. You are truly flying to new heights. This is what you walked through the valley of death for. You may not be able to see it just yet, but you will.
We are working on removing these blinders so that you can experience the world to its fullest. Because without you experiencing it to its fullest how will anyone else? How will you push others to try the same? How will you encourage others with your talents and passions if they are forever the same? You must be willing to break out of the mold that you thought your life was supposed to be and be willing to create a new masterpiece. A masterpiece specifically to you. A new song is being sung through you as you are exploring these sides of you, a song full of love and acceptance and great wonder…playfulness and youthfulness will return to you and all the years the locusts have stolen from you will be returned tenfold to you. You will experience the childhood fantasies you have long forgotten. You are not bound by this world and as you take off the ropes you will begin to see your wings emerge. They have been there all along. You have been growing them and strengthening them and now it is time for them to get flight time. It’s time they get put to work as they are designed.
The rest is up to you. What will you do? Where will you go? Who will you become? I can’t wait to see it!
