No Limits

There comes a point in time when we meet the end of ourselves and the beginning of God.

Now I am the type of person who tries her best to be her best. I try to eat healthy, workout, prioritize my mental health, work on my dreams and be the best daughter, friend, and sister that I can be. But I have realized even in the midst of me trying to be all that I can be, there really comes a time when I hit my own human limit. As frustrating as it can be to feel our human nature, I have also realized that when we meet the end of ourselves is really when we meet the beginning of God.

When everything feels like it is out of our control, he is someone we can turn to. I think sometimes we forget how in control God always is. If you’re feeling out of control then lean into him, I promise he is still in control. He still has a plan. He had all of it figured out before you even knew it was something you wanted to do. He had a plan then and certainly has a plan now. Trust him. When you’re feeling like you’ve hit the limits of yourself and there is no longer anything else you can do to help yourself, promote yourself or save yourself, trust him. Call on him. Where we end is where he begins. When we can’t do anything else for ourselves is his wheelhouse. It is literally what he is known for. We couldn’t do anything about our sins, but he had a plan long ago and sent his son to take care of that problem for us. Where we felt limited, he came through. He always has and you can trust that he always will. God is bigger than our human limits. He sits outside of time, energy, and finances. He can use any and everything to accomplish what he wants to. Unfortunately, that is a luxury we don’t possess as humans. We are limited by our time, our energy, or our finances. God wants us to step outside our human limitations and allow him in so he can take us even higher, further and wider than we could try and do for ourselves.

So, if you’re feeling discouraged and feel like you’ve hit your limitations then you are right where you should be. Because when we reach the end of ourselves is truly where we encounter the beginning of God and all his power, glory and might! Be encouraged today he has not left you, he will not leave you and he has a beautiful plan all figured out for you, because with God, there are no limits!
