The Hoofbeats of Heaven

Not all of you may know, the thundering hoofbeats of heaven.

But they were created for all of us, both you and me.

For God came down and shared His gift for all the world to see.

So, Raise your eyes again,

And inhale that brisk air, nice and deep.

And you’ll begin to feel your body, mind and soul find that long, forgotten peace.

It is in this place, that you begin to hear,

The thundering sounds of heaven, as they come roaring through the trees.

Sounds of thunder begin to shake the ground, beneath your firmly planted feet.

You can feel the power surging through them, as they grace you with their mighty strength.

Although, it may not be what you think.

The feeling is not that of fear, and you do not need to shrink.

Because they bring us such peace, hope and newfound strength.

For they are God’s angels, and they are faster than a wink.

So, raise your eyes again,

And inhale that brisk air, nice and deep.

And you’ll begin to feel your body, mind and soul find that long, forgotten peace.

For, thundering hooves brings you back to the place of God’s great release.

You may even notice the newfound confidence, that soaks in nice and deep.

Because their strong legs, can carry the weight of every worry, far away.

Not everybody is graced with the hoofbeats of heaven,

But if you are!

You have come in contact with the rare elements of beauty, power and grace;

That will lead to your heavenly place!

This is dedicated to all the majestic horses I’ve come in contact with during my life and their unmatched beauty and power!
